This is a very rare version of Lemania watch made in 1952-54 in uncommon case with beautiful Art Deco style dial and automatic gold plated 21 jewels movement Cal.3600. Watch is professionally restored by us to almost brand new condition and looks awesome shiny what makes it exceptional collectible timekeeper.
History
The watches and watch movement manufacturer Lemania was founded in 1884 by Alfred Lugrin who had acquired his expertise as a laborer at Jaeger-LeCoultre. From the beginning he had specialized in the production of only high quality chronographs, stopwatches and repeaters. Because of the outstanding quality of his watch movements Lugrin received top awards and gold medals at many exhibitions. The Lemania Calibre 1873 (Omega Calibre 861) became particularly famous with the Omega Speedmaster, which in 1962 was selected by NASA for manned space flights and on 21 July 1969 accompanied Neil Armstrong's first steps on the moon.
Waterproof (tested) stainless steel case 18K gold filled, professionally restored by us, to brand new condition, case reference number is 860 K0 1, case back lock signed: swiss made, incabloc, waterproof, antimagnetic and "SL" initials. Dial and hands in excellent condition with new luminous coating that shines awesome. Rare gold plated movement Lemania Cal.3600 21 jewels, in excellent condition, fully serviced (cleaned, oiled and adjusted) and still keeps good time, average daily deviation is less than +/-5-15 sec/day.
